This large family of Jumping Spiders has given me headaches. Genera collected include Habronattus (3 spp), Phidippus (5 spp), the smaller Metaphidippus (4 spp), Eris? (l sp), and 'Black Fang'. These spiders are most abundantly taken in sweeps in mid-summer (July, August). They appear to be most numerous in Prairie Fields (SWW, SWE).
