Family GLYPHIPTERIGIDAE

(Sedge Moths)

Small diurnal moths (16 NA spp) with large ocelli and squared-off wings resembling Tortricids. Most are seed borers in sedges and rushes. Glyphipterix impigritella is a common species that bores in the stems of Cyperus. Possibly collected.
