Most casebearers (169 NA spp) belong to the genus Coleophora.
I don't know how host specific these critters are. Pistol casebearers have
been collected from oak, hazel, cherry, apple, willow and dogwood. Cigar
casebearers are more common on cherry, apple, and willow. An elongate tubular
casebearer has been found on Artemisia ludoviciana.
