The Eurytomids (244 NA spp) are generally
black with a roughly punctured thorax, and rectangular pronotum. Some are
parasites of gall formers, while others feed on seeds (Bruchophagus) or
in stems (Harmolita), and still others are Hyperparasites. More than five
species have been collected. A species of
Eudecatoma
(YL body, OR eyes) is fairly common in the seeds of Elymus.
