The Cimbicid Sawflies (12 NA spp) are large robust sawflies with clubbed antennae. They feed on the foliage of trees and shrubs. Species collected include:
Cimbex americana
(elm),
Trichiosoma triangulum
(cherry), and
Zaraea americana
(honeysuckle).
