The only common Fungus Weevils (79 NA spp) taken in CCNHA old fields are two(?) species of Trigonorhinus-- T. sticticus and T. tomentosus. They feed upon ragweed seeds (Ambrosiaartemisiifolia) and are rather common in a variety of fields. Eupareus marmoreus is a woodland species that appears associated with bracket fungi on birch.
