Bean Weevils (134 NA spp) have been infrequently collected with sweeping.
Acanthoscelides
sp. has been taken from several fields. I suspect it feeds on the seeds
of vetch (Vicia villosa). Possibly different species has been collected
from lupine (Lupinus perennis) and purple prairie clover (Petalostemon
purpureum).
