Table of Species
Riffle Beetles (92 NA spp) are small aquatic beetles with long tarsal
claws suitable for walking about on submerged vegetation in streams with
moderate to strong current. A single species, Dubiraphia
sp, collected at Cedar Creek by LTER interns (Chris Scharenbroich, Amy
Bivin). Other species found in Minnesota but not collected at Cedar
Creek include: Macronuchus glabratus, Optioservus fastiditus,
Stenelmis spp.
