Small (1-4 mm) oval beetles covered with fine pubescence. Adults
and larvae are generally aquatic found in wet sand or stream margins.
Of the 33 NA species in this Family, Minnesota represented by Limnichus
punctatus. This Family not collected at Cedar Creek.
