The Wrinkled Bark Beetles (8 NA spp) are elongate beetles (6-8 mm) with
head and pronotum deeply grooved and beadlike antennae. Rhysodes
americanus collected in Minnesota. Found under bark of
decaying hardwoods or pine. This family not collected at Cedar Creek.
