The Dusty-wings (28 NA spp) are small (3 mm) insects. The larvae feed on small insects and insect eggs. Adults are covered with a whitish powder.
Conwentzia hageni, Coniopteryx sp
and
Malacomyza westwoodi
have been collected at Cedar Creek.
