The only genus in this small Family (64 NA spp) collected at Cedar Creek is Scolops.  All are brown-tone ovoid creatures with an elongate snout.  Three species are relatively common in CCNHA old fields. Scolops sulcipes is most common in rich weedy fields, Scolops angustatus in mesic weedy fields, and Scolops desiccatus in xeric fields. Scolops grossus also collected?
