Browsing instructions

This collection was compiled in order to provide a basic visual means of identification, while also describing the floral compostition of certain plant communities found at Cedar Creek, both natural and experimental. The Home Index provides access to thumbnail galleries for each plant grouping. The thumbnail galleries for old fields, successional periods, and savanna treatments are ordered (numbered) according to species abundance obtained from percent cover and biomass data. Other galleries are simply organized alphabetically. Each thumbnail links to individual species pages. On each species page portions of the images can be enlarged. This enlarged image will appear in a new browser window. Simply close the new window to continue. Moving back may be accomplished with the bulleted headings or your browser's "back" arrow.
