Cistaceae. Forb. Leaves alternate. Small oval leaves with fuzzy pubescence. The hairs are stellate (star shaped). The leaves are slightly lighter colored on the underside. The underside of the leaf margin and midvein are raised. Leaves are often crowded on the stem. The stem is rough and usually reddish. Flowers are yellow. Similar species: Lechea strictaLechea has more linear leaves with linear hairs. Found in fields B, C and D. |
