Euphorbiaceae. Forb. Leaves alternate. Leaves oval and somewhat waxy. Can have hairs on the stem, but usually has none. This is the only erect Euphorbia found at CCNHA. Stalk branches in a whorled fashion when flowering. One flower tops each branch. Flowers are white with five round petals. Has milky sap. Plant turns yellow, orange or red in the fall. No similar species. Found in fields B,C and D. Found in E120 and E123. |
