Asteraceae. Forb. Leaves alternate. Leaves are very small, thin and numerous. There are short, stiff (rough)hairs on the stem and both sides of the leaves. Hairs stick out from the lead margin similar to those on Erigeron canadensis. Flowerhead is branched and has many small, white, daisy like flowers . Similar species: see Aster azureus.
