Phalaris arundinacea

Poaceae. Grass. Distinctly broad leaf blades with a large papery ligule. No hairs-the entire plant is glabrous. It has a distinct "node" on the stalk midway between wher the blades fall off the stalk. These "nodes" are hidden by the sheath between each leaf blade, but become more obvious when the plant is dried. Found in field B.
